We thrive not just because of the many voices who add to our songs, but also because of the many hands and hearts of our volunteers, who contribute to every aspect of what we do.

We are not a nonprofit – we are not even incorporated! We’re just a group of like-hearted people who care enough to keep this decades-long tradition going. The OneVoice Circle is a true community project: like the tastiest stone soup, and in fact like our circles, everyone brings their gifts, and contributes “till it feels good.”

That said, we do have expenses for space, supplies, and outreach, and we try to send a little flow to our leaders. We can’t offer you a tax-deduction receipt, but we are truly grateful for anything you send our way.

Mission

To promote the craft and joy of group vocal improvisation, develop caring relationships through shared artistry, foster the unique voice of every individual, and bring “made up music” to wherever more harmony is needed.

Vision

Everything vibrates. Listening and improvising are essential skills for times of transformative change. Frequency and intentional sound have the potential to heal individuals, communities, and the world at large.

We seek to tune in to the world exactly as it is and to bring out the unique gifts of all good-hearted people, so that we might create a healthier, saner, more beautiful and creative world.
