Circle Central kicks off May 26-28, with Motion and special guests Luis Cato, Kai Eckhardt, and Lauren Monroe. For three truly magical days, you will be inspired by these gifted practitioners of healing music, and by the magnificent surroundings of St. Gregory’s Church in Potrero Hill.

each day will bring its own special magic, with lots of opportunities to sing in small and large groups, try your wings at leading, and learn from some fabulous musicians, up close and personal.

Since 2002, Sing for Your Life! has been our annual homecoming event on December 30th – a long-form circlesong to approach the end of the year with celebration, reflection, and intention.

You’ll find ever-evolving songs improvised by our special guest leaders and sung by hundreds of your friends, light refreshments, altars for reflection, and good friends all around.

In 2026 we return to our Oakland base at First Congregational Church. Watch this space for details!

Voices is our dedicated crew of circlesingers who meet weekly to sing, play, and develop as circle conductors. We sometimes sing at community gatherings, special events, and performances by our friends. If you’d like Voices to liven up your event, flashmob style, click below to contact us!

Ripples – The Larger Community

Circlesinging is contagious! After nearly 25 years in the Bay Area, our circle has widened to include many friends who host their own vocal improv events. Some are nearby, others are around the world! Like any good improvisation, this list is very fluid – it is by no means complete but full of goodness.

We’ll do our best to keep up with all kinds of resources for finding or starting a Circle near you. Watch this space!
