Join CircleSing Sebastopol, with David Worm, every other month on Second Saturdays!
Morning workshop: 10:30am – 12noon
Afternoon circlesong: 12:30 – 2pm
All are welcome to attend one or both sessions.

This time, we’ll build on the idea of creating new songs that carry hints from some of our favorite familiar ones. We’ll explore how it’s possible to start with a single recognizable phrase or lyric and create something entirely new and authentic to the moment.
Our themes will be “Peacetown” “Songs for Our Times” and “Summer.”
Make of that what you will! Come with a song in mind (but don’t worry about it), or just come and see what arises right then and there.
What to expect:
Open to any experience/comfort level with singing and/or improvised singing Requested Contribution:
$20-30 either morning or afternoon, or $40-$50 for both sessions
(cash or venmo/paypal accepted on-site)

Since 1987, David has been touring the world and sharing the magic of improv Circlesinging with Bobby McFerrin as a founding member of vocal bands Voicestra, WeBe3, SoVoSo, Gimme 5, and Motion. The Voices! ensemble is one among many of his latest projects. He teaches CircleSinging facilitation in Oakland and Beyond.
